Can you return on Vinted if it doesn’t fit?
No — not for fit alone. Vinted’s Refund Policy does not cover an item that matches its description and simply does not fit you.
A return is still possible in two cases, and only two: the seller agrees to take the item back, or you bought from a Pro seller. Everything below is quoted from Vinted’s own Help Centre, linked, and dated.

So the decision that matters is the one you make at the listing. What happens if I buy something on Vinted and it doesn’t fit?
Nothing happens automatically. Vinted’s Refund Policy lets you request a refund if an order was never shipped or is lost, arrived damaged, or is significantly not as described. A garment that arrived exactly as listed and does not fit is none of those, so the order completes and the payment goes to the seller.
Vinted notifies you when the order should have been delivered. From that moment you have two calendar days to press “I have an issue”. Press “Everything is OK”, or let the two days pass, and the order completes on its own.
Vinted’s own advice for this case is to talk to the seller about a return, or to relist the item and sell it on.
Can you return on Vinted if you don’t like it?
Same answer, and Vinted files it under the same heading. Its help page titled “I don’t like the item” says the Refund Policy does not cover items that do not fit you or do not suit you. A return happens only where the seller agrees to accept one, or where you bought from a Pro seller.
Vinted states that orders from Pro sellers have a different return policy, and sends you to a separate page for returning an item to one. Which kind of seller you bought from decides what you can do once the parcel is open.
Is it hard to get a refund on Vinted?
It depends entirely on the reason. Lost, damaged or significantly not as described has a defined process and a defined window: report the issue with photographs inside two calendar days and the order is suspended while it is resolved. Fit has no process at all — only a conversation with the seller, whose decision it is.
Inside that window the seller can offer a partial refund, offer a full refund, or ask you to return the item. If you cannot agree between you, Vinted support can be brought in. None of that machinery opens for a garment that is simply the wrong size.
Do sellers accept returns on Vinted?
Some do, and it is entirely their call. Vinted’s guidance for an item that does not fit is to talk to the seller about a return and to remember that it is their decision whether to accept it. There is no obligation on them and no appeal.
If a seller does agree, the buyer pays for return postage — Vinted says so plainly, and adds that a seller may offer to cover it when they ask for the item back. You then have five business days to send the parcel.
Which is why the work that changes the outcome happens at the listing, while you still have a choice.

Read the measurements, not the size label
A size label on resale is whatever the garment was sold as — often years ago, often in another country’s sizing, and sometimes after a hot wash. A listing that gives chest, length and sleeve is a listing you can check. One that gives only “M” is not.
Measure something you already wear
Lay a garment you own flat and measure the same three lines. That compares two garments, which is a thing you can settle with a tape measure, instead of comparing a garment against an idea of your own size.
Ask the seller for the number that is missing
If the measurement you need is not in the listing, ask for it before you commit. How that question gets answered also tells you a lot about how a return conversation with that seller would go.
See the garment on your own photo
Measurements answer whether a garment fits. They do not answer whether a mid-length coat reads as mid-length on you, where a hem lands, or what a mustard knit does next to your face. Those are the reasons people quietly relist things that fitted them fine.

It is an image, not a measurement
The output is an AI-generated image of how the garment sits on your proportions. It does not know your measurements and it cannot promise a size. The seller’s numbers still do that job.
It changes nothing about the policy
Nothing here makes a return possible that was not possible already. Vinted’s policy is Vinted’s. All this does is move the decision to the point where you still have one.
A weak photo makes a weak render
A blurry listing shot with three garments in it renders like a blurry listing shot with three garments in it. Prints and busy patterns are harder than plain fabric. Every result has a report control, and a render that fails returns its credit automatically.

Is Tryft an official Vinted app?
No. Tryft is an independent Android app from NomadLink. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Vinted, and nothing it does changes any marketplace’s refund policy. It works from the listing photograph itself, which is why it needs no partnership with anyone.
Does a render tell me my size?
No, and it does not try to. A render is an AI-generated image of that garment on your own photo: the length, the volume, the shape, the colour next to your skin. Size is what the seller’s measurements are for. Use the measurements to decide whether it fits, and a render to decide whether it is worth measuring.
What does a render cost?
Credits, bought in packs inside the app — Google Play shows the price before you buy. One credit renders your whole outfit: every item you have added, in one image, not one credit per garment. If a render fails, the credit goes back to your balance in the same moment it is marked failed. No subscription needed.
What does a new account start with?
Two things, and neither costs anything. A free render runs on its own the moment you save your photo — on a sample garment bundled with the app, so there is nothing to go and find first. If it does not come out, it does not count against you. And a welcome credit lands on the account, which renders the first thing you actually found: every item you have added, in one image. The credit is one per phone, and it arrives once Google Play confirms the app is genuine.
Can I share a Vinted link, or does it need the photo?
Either, for Vinted. Sharing the photo is the general path and it works from any app on your phone, anywhere you found the garment. Sharing a Vinted link works too — the app fetches the listing’s own photograph. From other marketplaces, share the picture itself, or a screenshot of it.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. Tryft is Android only today, and there is no published release date.
